Transferring Parts or Pricing using CD Burners.

If you don’t have access to a USB Flash Drive, here are some brief notes about using a CD burner instead.

All CD Burners are different and all CD Burners require software in order to burn data on to them. You should consult your CD Burner manual as well as the manual for your burner software. Once you are familiar with the software, you need only to choose the folder as outlined in the section, Transferring Parts or Pricing to USB Flash Drive above.

As for restoring the data on to your computer, simply follow the instructions in the section, Transfer Parts or Pricing from USB Drive to new computer. Where its says USB Flash Drive, substitute your CD Drive.

You can also use this to back up your parts list, just do the first part of the procedure, transferring to the USB Drive and only do the second part of the procedure if you need to retrieve your parts list.
