Key Issues
Please follow the instructions below if you are getting any of these errors:
HASP SRM Protection System - KCD Key Not Found (H0007)
HASP SRM Protection System - Feature not found (H0031)
HASP SRM Protection System - Unable to access HASP SRM Run-time Environment (H0033)

Make sure the key is plugged securely into the USB port while following the instructions below. Follow the instructions for the operating system you have. (For Windows 7 or Vista your Start button will be a circle. For Windows XP your Start button will be a rectangle.) In addition, please ensure that you have the latest version of KCD listed at: here. If you do not have the latest version, please download and install it before proceeding. If you are still unable to run KCD, please do the following:
If you get either of these errors when you try to run Version 9 of KCD:

HASP SRM Protection System - KCD Key Not Found (H0007)

If the page opens, but no keys are listed, you may need to swap your HASP key. Please call us at 508-760-1140 to do this. If a key is listed with the words "HASP version not supported", please follow the steps listed under the message "HASP SRM Protection System - Feature not found (H0031)". If the page does not open, please do the following:
Windows Vista or Windows 7:
Click on the Start button, then click on All Programs, then click on Accessories, then click on Run. In the Run box, click on the Browse button. In the Browse screen, on the left, find Computer, double click on it. In the center find the C: Drive, double click on it. In the center find the KCDw or the KCD folder, double click on it. In the center of the screen, find the file haspdinst or haspdinst.exe, double click on it. In the Run box click your cursor at the end of the line; after the last e in .exe, type in this: -fr -kp -purge Click on the Ok button. When this file is done, click on the Ok button Click on the Start button, then click on All Programs, then click on Accessories, then click on Run In the Run box, click on the Browse button. In the Browse screen, on the left, find Computer, double click on it. In the center find the C: Drive, double click on it. In the center find the KCDw or the KCD folder, double click on it. In the center of the screen, find the file haspdinst or haspdinst.exe, double click on it. In the Run box click your cursor at the end of the line, after the last e in .exe, type in this: -i Click on the Ok button. Make sure to accept all licensing agreements and unblock the file if your antivirus tries to block it. Once you get to the Finish button, click on it and restart your computer.
Windows XP:
Click on the Start button, then click on Run. Click on the Browse button. At the top of the Browse screen, Next to the words Look in: Drop down the arrow and select the C: Drive or Local Disk (C:) In the center of the screen, find the KCDw or the KCD folder, double click on it. In the center of the screen, find the file haspdinst or haspdinst.exe, double click on it. In the Run box click your cursor at the end of the line, after the last e in .exe, type in this: -fr -kp -purge Click on the Ok button. When this file is done, click on the Ok button Click on the Start button, then click on Run. Click on the Browse button. If you get this error when you try to run Version 9 of KCD

In the center of the screen, find the file FirmwareUpdate or FirmwareUpdate.exe, double click on it. Click on the Ok button. In the window that opens, click the "Apply Update" button. If the screen reads "Update written successfully" then close the window and restart KCD. If the update fails or KCD fails to run, please call KCD at 508-760-1140.
